First I want to apologize for my tardiness when it comes to confessionals so far this season! I honestly have had a lot on my plate in my every day life, and have been going through somewhat of a hard time recently. As much as I love the game of survivor, it’s been hard to prioritize the game so far but lucky enough for me things are subsiding, and I am finding my happy medium!
For this round I am kind of going back in time again; just to give a view at what went down.
Last round I saw with my own eyes the relationship between Rachel and Alonzo. Strategically I really wanted to point that out early to people to get the ball rolling.
Something that is incredibly important to me is that I only want to work with competent people who are like-minded. I don’t ever want a push and pull relationship. I want a we are on the same page relationship with the people around me, not one that makes no sense. I am grounded, logical and I want the overall best results for myself, my tribe and everything game wise I have to deal with. I’m not playing online survivor for the lawls and the friends — those will come naturally. I play as an outlet to experience my favorite game, mental sport and contagious social experiment that allows you to enter a much different reality then you get to experience in your everyday life.
Independently I found this within Knight, Natalie & Danny. Relationships based on compatibility and logical thinking.
I knew from jump that Allonzo would never want to work with me and not even give me a chance or opportunity. I didn’t realize how he would already be affecting my relationship with Rachel, but they’re two peas in a pod.
At this point my goal is to still bring together those whom I have bonded with and to create a four person alliance. However before any of this matters... we need to win a freaking challenge!
This round we all got to pick what we thought we would be best at. Bailey took the slider and he got second! I feel like that’s an okay result!
Natalie took word search, Knight took something I forget what it was and and Alonzo stole 2048 from Knight. All of them got one point only.
When it comes to Natalie I don’t care if she thrives challenge wise because I trust her on an emotional and strategic level. Knight did no harm because he offered to do multiple different parts of the challenge. In fact he was assigned to do something different and Alonso decided he then wanted to do one Knight was doing. In they end both got one point only but the difference between the two is that I am positive if Knight has done what 2048 like he was suppose too and Alonzo the other thing — Knight would have scored higher and Alonzo STILL would have got a single point.
At this point Allonzo is a complete liability.
Rachel got second place; while Danny and I thrived. We won by one point and I stick by what I am about to say.
We are the weakest tribe who cares more about strategy and being messy, then actually thriving and surviving, the entire point of this game.
