My response to Jake’s tribal answer.

So we were definitly some over achievers in that scavenger hunt.  I probably smell like potato salad and have sharpie all over me today at work from doing tie breakers that we did not need but hey at least we are safe.   When we started I dont think I expected a team to complete everything but as it went on and we were able to get them all I figured at least one other team would as well.  Danny, Mojo, and I def did the most work.  Vee also stepped up with the gifs.  Jake did some work esp with the tie breakers.  Josh did some things.  And Nolan did like two but at least they were things no one else wanted to do.  Not sure if the latter four didnt do as much bc they were busy, bc they aren't as active in the game, or bc they feel comfortable.  It was a probably combination of those. 

I did not feel comfortable losing at all.  I didn't care if we lost the last one bc I think it's good to lose some and i felt pretty good about my position.  But after blindsiding Brandon I don't know what exactly would happen next. 

I feel good about the mad hatters, mainly Mojo.  Danny, I don't talk much to one on one but it seems like hes loyal to the three.  A couple things I noticed though is that he stopped telling me idol guesses.  And once he told me the mad hatters he guessed f1 after mojo told us his guess, but I had told Danny I guessed f1 the day before.. So is he not keeping track?  Does he already have the idol?  Not sure.  He also told me he wasn't really guessing anymore bc he thinks someone already found it by now.  Seems kind of weird that he went so hard in the scavenger hunt but isnt going to take five seconds to guess for the idol.  So i wouldnt be surprised if he has it or knows who does.  Id rather have him than someone outside of the mad hatters but if he has it and isnt telling me its a little cocnerning.  On the other hand if i found it id probably only tell Mojo.  If danny told mojo and mojo didnt tell me that's also a little cause for concern. 

Also on call with the mad hatters yesterday Danny said that Nolan had tried to flip the vote on to Mojo right before tribal.  Weird that Danny told us this two days later... I guess Mojo could have known but he seemed surprised.  Danny claimed he forgot but i doubt that.  I think Danny is sneakier than he lets on.  It also seems like a lot of people are comfortable with Danny and tell him a lot.  Josh and Nolan both seem to trust Danny a lot. 

Nolan told me his target is Josh.  I just know I can never really trust Nolan in this game, after I blindsided him, bc he's never really going to trust me, or he shouldn't anyways.  It'd be good if he got back with the four and voted with us but what is stopping him from joining the three others instead?  Danny and Mojo claim Nolan and Jake don't like each other but I dont know if thats the case.  I just don't think it will be that simple.  Nolan is essentially a free agent and I'm sure the other side realizes that.  Josh told me he was going to go after Nolan after Brandon left, but I could see him going after Mojo or I instead.  If Josh suspects that the mad hatters are a thing he will def try to break that up.

 

I talked to Vee a little but it's hard bc she takes a long time to respond.  When we had our call before the vote she said she liked everyone except Nolan bc he talked over people on the call.  I'd like to form a group with her but not sure who to put in it.  It'd be great if i could just add her with Mojo, Danny, and I but I think she could be close to Josh and tell him about it and that would be very bad.  I asked her if she wanted to make one and who she wants in it so maybe sometime tomorrow I will hear back on that.  

Jake I still try to talk to but it's hard bc he never wants to call and we dont really talk game.

Josh I just dont think has any interest in really working with me.  He never really reaches out and is very cautious with information. 

Nolan I would like to keep close for now but I need to be careful with him.  We are supposed to call later, I think I'm just going to act like i'm not close with anyone and that the game is full of pairs.  Maybe I can be his new Brandon, probably not, but I can try to make him feel good about me.  I believe he'll flip, as he should as soon as we swap but it would be good if he were on my side and trusted me for now anyways. 

I'm scared of Josh getting too much power on this tribe bc that would be bad for me.  Hopefully people don't see that Danny, Mojo, and I are as close as we are so if any plans do pop up one of us will here about them. They probably know though, I just need to get closer to Vee and Nolan and try to make sure Nolan/Josh still target each other in case we have to vote again before a swap.
